On a totally different subject...I play Farmville on Facebook. I play daily and my feed is all about the game so if any one plays and wants to join me please send me a request. Or if you want to send a friend request for Facebook I'd be happy to accept also.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Dragging this morning ... too much to do the past two days. I need another day off. I was going to get up early this morning for some errands but just couldn't do it, so I decided to veg. Juliette was snuggling next to me so why leave the comfort of bed? Then I just wanted coffee and relaxing with the newspaper and computer and not moving.

Good to see so many people back ... Laureen, etc.  ... hope all is well with your bloodwork. For some reason, Laureen, I keep having low potassium, even with taking two potassium a day. So now I'm taking three a day before my knee surgery. Don't know why it's low all the time. My iron is good, however. And everything else, too, is great. Other than my bones and muscles, of course. All the docs ask if I have fatigue ... well, of course, I do, I have fibro ... it goes with the territory. If I didn't have caffeine, I'd have no energy. I have found that green tea seems to help with the energy factor.

Anyway, I need to do something on the way in to work, so I should get going. Have a great day.

Hi Carla,
I'm sorry to hear you have hit a rough patch with your recuperation.  I hope it is not an obstruction.  Try to take it easy.  I guess the bright spot, if there is any, is that you caught it before getting on the road to Chicago or Florida, and you are hopefully in the care of your surgeon.

God bless Sweetie,
Hugs,
Trish

Hi everyone!  Just wanted to stop in with an update.  I got
my lap band removed on Tuesday so am draging a little.

The incision at the belly button is really sore and hard.
The gas is just hitting the shoulder so will go back to
walking and getting in water.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Hi Sweetie,
I hope your recuperation goes well.  Take it easy, but walk, walk, walk, and sip, sip, sip.

Are you getting a revision?  My sister is considering one.  She got the lap band a few years ago, and has had trouble with gagging and keeping food down.  I think she is afraid of the RNY because she almost died with blood clots in her lungs.  She and I have a clotting disorder, and have both survived the clots.  Our brothers did not make it.  They're in heaven with Jesus.

Hang in there.

Hugs,
Trish

Hi!  I wanted to get a revision but, my insurance is doing a once in a lifetime WLS.  Even though I was trying when they changed and they led me to believe I had a chance, now they are not returning my calls and are saying NO!  I have a cloting issue too but, I don't clot.  I take something just before surgery.  I resently lost a brother and father to cancer so understand your pain.

Tell your sister if she has any chance to change from a band to a sleeve (vsg) to do it.  Every sleever I know say the sleeve does what the band claimed and didn't.  She will be so much happier.
